Best Friends Birthday Club
Many fabulous and giving young people in our community have opted out of the traditional presents for their birthday and, instead, asked their party guests to bring donations to support our animals.
Well, our animals, and Kim Schultz – a young girl who recently did this for us – had a talk and wanted to do something in return for all the kids who do this, so they came up with the idea to create the Best Friends Birthday Club. Fiona the cat tossed in the “best friends” idea. Snuggles the lab-mix dog suggested we make it a club. And Kim gathered the group in the first place!
Whenever you bring in donations from your big day, you’ll get your name and photo on our Facebook page and website, an official birthday club membership card, a special treat bag, a private tour and personal meet & greet with some pets, PLUS you’ll get to name the next pet up for adoption!
Consider it our way of saying, Yappy Birthday!
