From lemonade stands and car washes to golf tournaments and birthdays, people support causes they're passionate about through their own fundraisers or events. At the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, we're grateful for these creative spirits and their generosity!

First and foremost, determine what kind of event or fundraiser you'd like to host. We have a few different tools and ways we can help depending on what you prefer to do. Check the FAQs below for more information.
DIY Fundraising
You can be a hero on your birthday, before a big event, in honor of a loved one, or just because. Whatever your reason for fundraising, you’ll be making a difference for adorable animals in need.
Other fundraiser ideas include:
- Company-wide 50/50 raffle
- Casual Friday (or any other day) for a donation at work, school, etc.
- Penny Drive
- Adopt a Donation Box
- Bring Your Dog to Work Day for a donation
DIY Events
If you're hosting a car wash, a bake sale, or a similar event, let us know about it by contacting Kaitie Swedlund at KSwedlund@petsgohome.org! She is our Director of Development & Fundraising and will work with you to promote your event!
Other event ideas include:
- Donate a percentage of sales at your business for a day
- Athletic tournament (golf, volleyball, tennis, softball, bowling, etc.)
