Empty the Shelters Adoption Event

Through the support of the Bissell Pet Foundation, we are able to reduce adoption fees during this time period! After you fall in love with your new best friend, you can spin our ‘Wheel of Adoption Fees’ to see what your adoption fee is – adoption fees will range between $0-$25.

Dog Mom Day
Get ready for a day out on Timberhill’s patio filled with tail-waggin’ fun, professional photos by Rural Vibe Photography, caricatures, and yummy dog treats for sale!

Join us out at the Hedberg Public Library to learn more about HSSW and meet some of our adoptable animals! Volunteers will be on-site to answer all your questions.

May 15th | 4-8PM | Chipotle – Janesville
Each month, a local restaurant partners with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin for one night and a portion of the proceeds are donated back to help pets go home!

Join us for a little morning yoga featuring adoptable cats! There are only 12 spots available, so don’t wait to grab your ticket!

Come for the fun, enjoy food & drink specials and visit with HSSW staff and an adoptable friend. All Pizza + Pint combo proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin!

Bags & Wags Cornhole Tournament
Come to play or come to watch. Mystery wagon raffle packed with over $1,100 worth of prizes, 50/50 raffles, good food, good drinks, and great company! All well-mannered and leashed dogs are welcome!

Skelly’s Donut Dash
On Saturday, August 3rd, participants of all ages will have the opportunity to race or mosey through Skelly’s 6-acre sunflower field, scenic nearby roads, and strawberry beds, with an apple cider donut waiting at the finish line. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome!
