All dogs at minimum are spayed or neutered, vaccinated against Distemper/Parvovirus and Bordatella (kennel cough), heartworm tested and/or started on heartworm preventative depending on age, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks, dewormed, and include 30 days of free pet health insurance (when an email address is provided at the time of adoption). To help start things off as best we can, we require every member of the family, including canine members and anyone else who is regularly at the house, to meet the dog before we send it on its way. Hey, what can we say? We love them all too!
|Adult Dog (6 months and older)||$200|
|Dog Buddies (2 adult dogs or a bonded pair)||$350|
|Dog Buddies (1 adult dog and 1 puppy)||$400|
|Adoption Guarantee Fund Adult Dog*||$250 and up|
|Adoption Guarantee Fund Puppy*||$300-500|
Not every member of the family needs to meet a cat before going home. We strongly encourage young children to meet cats ahead of time, and we require that if you still live at home with your parents, you bring mom or dad in for a meet and greet too. Of course, it just makes sense to check with other family members, roommates, and your landlord before adding to the household. (There’s nothing like a surprise bark or meow when you’re not expecting it.)
|Adult Cat (6 months to 7 years)||$65|
|Cat Buddies (2 adult cats or a bonded pair)||$105|
|Cat Buddies (1 adult cat and one kitten)||$145|
|Senior Cat (7+ years)||$35|
|Kitten (up to 6 months)||$115|
Other animals (birds, small mammals, reptiles)
Occasionally a feathered, scaled, or fuzzy friend makes its way to us, too. Check here for updates on new shelter guests.
