FREE Vaccine Event
June 28th | 1AM – 3PM | JCC
HSSW is partnering with JCC to put on this FREE event to help more pets in our community get vaccinated! We’ll be providing Rabies Vaccines, Distemper (DA2PP or FVRCP) Vaccines, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Vaccines, Lyme Disease Vaccines, Leptospirosis Vaccines, and Microchip AT NO COST! There are no income, location, or other restrictions – everyone who has a pet (3+ months old) is welcome!

Donut Dash
August 2nd | 8AM | Skelly’s Farm Market
Participants of all ages will have the opportunity to race/mosey through Skelly’s 6-acre sunflower field, scenic nearby roads, and strawberry beds, with an apple cider donut waiting at the finish line. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! Registration is just $40 and includes a race bib with time tracking (thanks to Velocity Multi-Sports & Cycling), admission to the sunflower field, and an apple cider donut at the finish line.

Mounds Outreach Event
June 21st | 10AM-2PM | Janesville Mounds
Join us out at the Janesville Mounds to learn more about HSSW and meet some of our adoptable animals! Volunteers will be on-site to answer all your questions.

Pipes for Paws
July 12th | 10AM-7PM | STARTING AT HSSW
Our incredible community is putting on a Poker Run in our honor! For the Pipes & Paws Poker Run, all wheels are welcome (not just motorcycles)! All participants will check-in at HSSW between 10am-12pm with the first rider leaving at 11am! Riders will then enjoy 8 stops around Rock County ending at Bricks & Stones for cards to be dealt and winners to be crowned!

Cats N’ Mats
July 19th | 9:30AM-11:30AM | HSSW
Join HSSW for a morning yoga practice lead by Lifestyle Focus Fitness and featuring adoptable cats! Ages 10+ are welcome to join. It is preferred that you bring your own yoga mat with you, but we will have a few to borrow if needed. This event runs from 9:30am-10:30am at HSSW. There are only 12 spots available, so don’t wait to sign up! You can sign up HERE. Plus, the cost is only $23 with $10 coming back to HSSW as a donation!
