Looking to give your kids a tail waggin’ good time this summer?
Camp Unleashed starts in June and runs through August for children ages 6-13. HSSW offers camps with a variety of topics but all have a core focus on compassion for animals. Camps will include a fun mix of animal interactions, games, educational lessons, and crafts! For more information or for Frequently Asked Questions, click the button below!
Do you know someone who loves kids and wants to be involved in making camps a success? If you have a teen ages 14-17 who would like to be involved as a summer camp counselor, please fill out this interest form, and our Community Outreach Coordinator will be in contact shortly! Their responsibilites would include helping to lead games and activites, helping set up for crafts or lessons, and teens ages 16-17 can assist in bringing animals out for interactions! Dates: June 12th -15th – 8:30am-3:30pm

Price: $250
Does your child have an interest in becoming a Veterinarian? HSSW’s Vet Camp provides an age-appropriate introduction into shelter veterinary medicine. We will be learning about medical exams, animal body language, administering medicine, and spending time with our shelter animals! Campers will also have the opportunity to watch a spay/neuter surgery and help an animal through recovery after surgery.

PAWCASSO ART CAMP
Dates: June 20th -21st 8:30am-3:30pm
Ages: 10-13
Price: $175
This is the perfect camp for young, animal loving artists! HSSW
staff will have campers engage in awesome animal art activities
with all kinds of different materials. Each day will be filled with a
variety of hands-on art activities, games, and animal time!

Calling all animal lovers! Our Pet Pals Camp is a wonderful camp experience that allow kids to practice compassion and kindness towards animals. Campers will learn about the importance of our shelter, as well as responsible pet ownership, and other animal welfare topics. We will even have some VIP animal guests!

WILDLIFE EXPLORERS CAMP
Dates: Aug. 14th-15th 8:30am-3:30pm

HSSW is taking a trip beyond the four walls of our shelter! We are taking campers through the tall evergreen trees of the rainforest, deep below the sea, and past the blustering wind and snow of Antarctica to explore animals in their natural habitats. Each day, campers will get to explore a new terrain and the animals that live there!

SHELTER SUPERHERO CAMP
Dates: Aug. 16th-17th 8:30am-3:30pm

Seeking heroes with superpowers! We are calling on our bravest and most daring campers to explore the world of Animal Welfare and all who work in it! Throughout this 2-day camp, campers will get to know all of the important careers that exist in the animal world and learn the importance of each career we cover.
