Field Trips
Want a little more than a tour? Bring your group in for a field trip at HSSW! Field trips are an amazing experience in which your group will get a behind the scenes tour of our facility, visit with some of our adoptable animals, and get to do a special project to help the furry friends here at the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
We are able to welcome a maximum of 30 of students on a field trip and a maximum of 35 total people including teachers or chaperones.
What’s included with a Field Trip?
- 1 to 1.5 hours on-site
- Behind the Scenes Tour
- Visit with Adoptable Animal
- Pet-Focused Service Project
- An indoor or outdoor place for you to eat your lunch!
It is important to note that HSSW uses peanut butter for administering medication and animal enrichment throughout the shelter and is unable to provide a peanut free facility. We are unable to make accommodations for children with severe peanut allergies.
