The Giving Tree
This December, we have created The Giving Tree. The Giving Tree is a fundraiser designed to show donors exactly what we need most at HSSW and ask for help to raise the funds needed to purchase these items! Below, you will see a variety of items needed at a range of costs. You will also have the option to donate to help us purchase those items OR purchase one (or more) of those items for us.
As this fundraiser carries on, we will continually update this page to reflect the most up-to-date information – including how much we have raised towards our goals, how many items have been purchased on our behalf, and more! We will also be posting updates on our Facebook page.

Veterinary Medical Needs
Below are much-needed items to help us provide top-notch veterinary care to all of our pets at HSSW.
- Two SPO2 Monitors – Helps us monitor pets under anesthesia
TenSeven Cat Nail Trimmers &FiveTwo Dog Nail Trimmers – To keep pets’ nails trimmed and safe- Two Grooming Clippers – To shave pets before surgery
- One Heating Mat – To keep pets warm after surgery
- Seven Nebulizers – To help our pets with colds to breathe easier
- One Restraint Carrier – To safely give vaccines to our scared cats
- Three Stethoscopes – To listen closely to our pets’ hearts & lungs
- One Mini Vacuum – To clean up after a pre-surgery shave
- Two ET Tube Racks – To organize all of our ET Tubes used in surgery
- Five Packs of Gear Ties – To keep our cats’ feet upright during surgery
- Three Small Portable Intensive Care Units – To help keep our most fragile patients safe
- Ten Snuggle Safes – To keep our cats/kittens/small dogs warm

Foster Program Needs
Below are high priority items for our Foster Program to help us make sure our most fragile pets grow big and strong in the comfort of a foster home.
- 20 Cases of Canned Kitten Food & Ten Bags of Dry Kitten Food – Helps our kittens to grow up healthy and strong
- 20 Cans of Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR), 20 Bottles, & 20 Nipples – For our tiny baby kittens that still drink formula
TenSeven Small Litter Boxes &2017 Bags of Cat Litter – To give our cats and kittens a place to potty
- Thee Tubs of Churu, Five Cases of Tuna, Five Cases of Sardines, & Five Cases of Chicken – To help our picky eaters find something they like & our shy friends come out of their shell
- Five Kitchen Scales – To make sure our kittens are growing on schedule
- Five Snuggle Safes – To keep our kittens warm
- Five Cases of Royal Canin Kitten Food – For our extra-special kittens that need a little more help from their food

- Two Lure Courses – To give our dogs something to chase
- Two Dog Treadmills – To give our dogs a place to run when the weather doesn’t cooperate
- Two Spring Poles – For our dogs that LOVE to play tug

- Two Agility Course Sets – For our extra-spunky dogs
- Ten Lifted Dog Cots – To help our dogs get cozy in their kennels
