The Beat’s Fur Baby Friday
The Beat’s Fur Baby Friday

Every Friday, 98.9 and 92.3 The Beat helps us promote an adoptable pet for Fur Baby Friday! This week’s Fur Baby is Forge!

Forge has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a condition that affects the part of the brain that controls coordination and balance.

Cats and kittens with CH are sometimes called “wobbly cats” because they may have shaky movements, unsteady walking, or trouble with precise motions. CH is not painful, not contagious, and it doesn’t get worse over time. Cats with this condition can live long, happy lives – they just need a bit of patience and possibly small accommodations like easy-to-reach litter boxes, non-slip surfaces, or low climbing areas.

This cat’s wobbliness makes them extra charming, and their sweet personality shines through in everything they do. He is playful, loving, and wonderfully resilient, and he’s looking for a home that appreciates his uniqueness!
